An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a quick, non-invasive test that records the electrical activity of the heart. Small electrodes are placed on the chest, arms, and legs to measure the heart's rate and rhythm. This test helps detect irregular heartbeats, identify potential cardiac abnormalities, and assess overall heart health.

Exercise Tolerance Testing (ETT), also known as an exercise stress test, evaluates how the heart responds to physical activity. During the test, heart rate, heart rhythm, and blood pressure are monitored while the patient walks on a treadmill. This test helps assess cardiovascular function, investigate symptoms, and identify potential heart-related concerns.

Event monitoring records the heart's electrical activity over an extended period to help detect intermittent heart rhythm abnormalities. It is particularly useful for investigating symptoms such as palpitations, dizziness, or irregular heartbeats that may not occur during a standard ECG or 24-hour Holter monitor.

Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM) measures blood pressure at regular intervals over a 24-hour period while patients go about their normal daily activities and sleep. A portable device and arm cuff automatically record blood pressure readings throughout the day and night. This test helps identify high blood pressure, assess blood pressure fluctuations, and evaluate the effectiveness of blood pressure management and treatment.

Holter monitoring is a non-invasive cardiac test that continuously records the heart’s electrical activity over a 24-hour period while patients go about their normal daily activities. A small, portable device is worn to monitor heart rate and rhythm, helping detect irregular heartbeats that may not appear on a standard ECG. This test is particularly useful for investigating symptoms such as palpitations, dizziness, or unexplained fainting episodes.
