Emsella Pelvic Floor Therapy

Emsella is an innovative, non-invasive treatment designed to strengthen weakened pelvic floor muscles and improve bladder control in both women and men.

The pelvic floor muscles play an important role in supporting the bladder and other pelvic organs. When these muscles become weakened due to aging, pregnancy, childbirth, or other factors, individuals may experience urinary leakage or difficulty maintaining bladder control.

Emsella offers a convenient way to strengthen these muscles without surgery or medication. Treatment is performed while comfortably seated and fully clothed, with no downtime required.

Unlike traditional pelvic floor exercises, Emsella stimulates the muscles automatically while you remain seated, allowing for targeted muscle activation without physical exertion.

Over a series of treatments, improved pelvic floor muscle strength and control may help reduce symptoms of urinary incontinence.

Before Your Treatment

Your healthcare provider will review your medical history and symptoms to determine whether Emsella is appropriate for you. No special preparation is typically required.

During Your Treatment

You will sit comfortably on the Emsella chair while remaining fully clothed. The device stimulates your pelvic floor muscles through electromagnetic energy.

You may feel tingling or repeated muscle contractions during the session. The treatment intensity can be adjusted based on your comfort.

Each session lasts approximately 30 minutes.

After Your Treatment

There is no routine recovery time, and most patients can return to their normal daily activities immediately afterward.

A typical treatment plan consists of six sessions over approximately three weeks, although the number of sessions may vary based on individual needs.

Results vary, and some patients may notice improvements gradually during or after completing their treatment series.

Emsella provides a non-surgical treatment option for eligible patients looking to improve pelvic floor strength and bladder control.

However, it is not suitable for everyone. Certain medical conditions, pregnancy, or implanted electronic or metal devices may prevent someone from receiving treatment.

A consultation or pre-treatment screening is important to review your medical history, discuss your symptoms, and determine whether Emsella is a suitable option.
